7b9c3503fa Make it possible to use multiple stages in run_stuff_*, e.g: 
run_stuff_before="configure build install"

while here, document them in example.tmpl.

06ed761de0 Add the example template file that contains all variables that can be 
used in templates.

Remove all comments from the other templates, if you want to know what
are their meaning, look at the example template.
