Delete Branch "web-346"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
This instance does not block any other instances, according to their /about/more. There is also a free speech agenda on this instance. I would recommend blocking them immediately.
Their /about/more says, if the machine translated it correctly:
They link to https://tedomum.net/page/cgu/, which says (under “Gestion des infractions”):
This does look like they moderate the instance. They are not required to publish their blocklist, most Mastodon instances don't.
Greetings,
I'm Jae, TeDomum admin here!
Be assured we do have moderation on our instance and despite what the original report said, we do not have a "free speech agenda on this instance" (read correctly dammit) as 'free speech' instances usually won't ban or do any actions for anything you say.
This is not the case on TeDomum's instance, as said in the 'Atteintes a la personne' section of our TOS, we are banning/suspending/silencing for:
And so on.
We do silence, block and ban users as it is our job to maintain a safe climate on this instance.
The person that reported our instance was probably under the effect of anger (maybe after fighting with a user that is now banned from our instance).
I'd like to add a small personal note: before reporting instances on a blocklist as large as this one; please, please think a little bit; it's not because there's one problematic user that the whole instance is like gab; beforehand, contact the admins/mods, make a report, there is no stupid questions and an admin/mod will happily handle and answer your request.
Thanks @Jae. We only add instances to our list when the claims can be proven.
Unless someone comes up with evidence in the next days, we will close this pull-request.
